I've been carrying around a bag of old film for the past eight years. The photos were destroyed in a freak rain storm while I was living in San Diego but I kept the film. For my birthday, Rachel had the photos put onto a CD for me. Most of the pictures came out OK despite a little water damage. I thought I would share a few of my favorites....

Wow, those do go a ways back! That's really a nice bonus to have that part of your life come back into view like that. I assume that the hummingbird and wetsuit photos were from a rafting and camping trip to Colorado? Kinda neat to see some of your Navy photos as well.
Ah, yes. That was a great trip. I remember that you climbed a pretty big hill where we camped. Also, we found gold in that stream! Ah, and ate spaghetti in the rain.
And don't you look just so sailorific?! Nice of that sweet Rachel to get those saved for you :)
